There’s someone for him and for her
Someone that will make the horrid past seem a blur
There’s a guy for every girl and a girl for every guy
Yet so many go on in this world alone and die that way

It’s said there is at least one person for another
Yet so many are alone forever
Maybe it’s not really true
Maybe there really isn’t someone for you

Maybe there is, maybe there’s not
Maybe god simply forgot
Forgot to make someone for you
Someone who would love and care for you too

They say to just keep looking for that someone
But I’m sorry to say that’s over and done
This endless search is going nowhere
I could fade away into the dark and none would care

So then that must not be true
There’s not always someone out there to love you
That’s just a truth of life I’ll have to life with
The tale of true love for all is only a myth

Some find love while others find pain
The search for love has driven many insane
Not all are meant to be loved and cared for
Some are meant to be alone forevermore
