Trying to fit back into my creative niche
I wonder if I'll fit better if I try to go in piece by piece
'Cause girl, not everything is roses
Or even dandelions for me
Think of all the days when we fooled ourselves into thinking we were fee
What a joke
You know I'm waayy too broke
But I'll strech every dollar for you
If only you knew
All the lengths that I'll go to and
Do you know that
God, I'm such an idiot
And it's something I won't soon forget
Chalking out verses about regrets until my grief weighs down the pavement
And hey, lets just ignore that
For a moment
I had no clue what to write
Sitting in the park and shielding my eyes from the morning light
And staying up late hoping you'll call me tonight
(No, you won't
But I'll check my messages a thousand times)
And these months of waiting
Are making me ill
When I can never get enough of you
And you've always had your fill.
