  The two boys were only 12 years old.

What is going on here?
Our children are being killed.
Not out in the streets,
But right in their schools.
It just isn't agreeable,
When our children are frightened.
Something needs to be done,
Security needs to be tightened.

Is that what comes next?
Will they be able to trade,
Get a gun for a text?
Children with weapons
What is the world coming to?
The only way to stop it
Is it's up to me and you.

My child comes home
All beaten and sore.
Some boys had jumped him
Just for the coat he wore.
What is really going on
When our children have to fight?
Will someone please tell me
Is this really right?
