Wind whispers through the trees
In the grass, and on the leaves
We listen well but don't receive
The message given from the trees
We go through days passing by
Danger lingers, but we never fly
We are warned, but do we receive
We die slowly we never eat
We listen well, but can not hear
Our hearts of sorrow fill with fear
Each day we live but slowly die
Our mothers our fathers we say good bye
Then one day you will die
Forever more you never see
The sunlight passing is just a gleam
We listened well
But did we receive
The message given from the trees.

- Title: Whispering Trees
- Artist: vampireyuki12
- Description: A poem about how the earth can give messages but we are to oblivious to see them. The poem represents how you live everyday but you still die. there's death all around us. The next day you may not see anything. You may never see the sun again. This poem is about how the trees, and wind can send you messages, but we can not read them.
