If Only You Knew

• Description: I just had an idea in my head about a girl still very much in love with her ex who was confused by lies and couldn't see or feel the truth. She knows that if he hadn't believed in such lies, that they might still be together. Though she realized that things happen for a reason. Now she doesn't really regret it only not to know wat could have been. And yeah. Personally I haven't felt this way yet, but I just felt like writing about it haha.

This poem was for you
That each word that I said
Was nothing but true

If only you saw
Perfection, not flaw
That I was in love
That I wouldn't withdraw

If only you heard
Only the loving words
That would keep us together
Your vision not blurred

If only you felt
The way I was held
Everytime you hugged me
When my heart always would melt

If only things were different
And there was no abandonment
We could still be together
But I still wouldn't change one bit
