• She tapped her nails on the cold metal that glued to the agonizing waiting chair in the airport lobby. Tap Tap Tap Tap-Tap Tap Tap Tap The flight was even more nerve wrecking. Worries of what he'd think of her once he came to Juliet in person,or how she could manage to face the one she longed for over many years that built mountains of expectations,or worse, the plane crashing.
The tings of charms hitting masses of glass first caught her attention, fallowed by complete panic, adrenalin engorged her gut which were tied in knots as she watched a familiar face pass through the two doors, his mother. The nervous girl scurried behind the man who brought her to this nightmare.
"Juliet?" he called to her in a cracked tone. She froze. "Juliet." he called once more. She turned slowly, hesitantly, keeping stinging tears from running.
"Hi..." She uttered and blushed. He then took the brass tag that hung from her neck by steal beads and smiled,"There's my Bunny." Romeo held her in his tight, secure embrace. So suddenly a nightmare became a dream that every girl slumbers to.
After the long, silent drive with locked arms and hidden grins they strolled along the beach chatting away about absolutely nothing. As stars rained upon them they settled in the calming sand. The atmosphere was a cool blue, waves frosting over land and dusting sugar crystals into Juliet's long, copper, coils of hair. Gazing up from laced hands Romeo finally meets Juliet's blackened eyes. Sinking into the night of his stare Juliet leaned to his sweet kiss that burned as the silver moon of secrets lit their path.
In that one passionate moment they both breathed for the first time.
