• Clickity click, I click my mouse
And think, "Life is wonderful! Hey,
I wonder what kinds of wonderful things
    I'll find on Gaia today!"

Clickity click, I click my mouse
And to the arena I go!
    Clickity click, some poetry, cool!
I click, read, and go, "Oh!

This one is too angsty, unpleasant, and sad!
This one is just the same!
Why can't I find some happy ones?"
I sigh and just mutter, "Lame."

So I head to the art section, hoping I'll find
    Some happy stuff to view
But all I see is a woman crying
And blood, and tears, and rue

"What is WITH all this angst?"
    I cry out with despair
    I click on a story
    Nope! It's still joy-impaired!

"That is IT!" I scream at my computer screen
Family stares; "I'm playing Gaia, guys,"
    I explain, hoping they understand
They simply nod and roll their eyes

"I will write my OWN poem!
    A poem of glee!
    Happy and joyful!
    You all shall see!"

So here I sit, on a black laptop
And stare at the blank Microsoft Word
I ask myself, "Okay, now what?"
When suddenly, I start, though the writing's absurd

    I look over the paper
    And copy and paste
    100 Gold, I know
    Has just gone to waste
