Last A While.

You gave up on me
And here im left
The only one fighting
Now I can see
It was all for nothing
So here I am
And these battle wounds
Ya, they're gunna last for a while

I saw you standing there
And you don't even care
You walk right past
But do you know,
Thats the pain that lasts?
Ya, these wounds are gunna last a while.

Do you know how happy you made me?
And now I know. You were faking
And it was all my fault.
So now I know.
Ya, these wounds are gunna last a while.

These gates of hell open up.
I forced them open
But can I leave?
Freedom never hurt so much.
Ya, these wounds are gunna last a while.

Will I fall farther?
No. I hit the ground, cause I cant sink any lower
I never even knew
I was falling
But now I can feel the ground.
Can I get back up?
These gates, these wounds pull me back
They hurt too much.

I tried to be what you want.
And you never knew it
Cause you were never there
And I thought you were.
Can I go on? Like this?
This just cant be me.

I think you over used the line "Ya these wounds are gunna last a while" Try not to use the same line in ever stanza...
