"I have always wanted to take a picture of this flower in our garden. It's called White Angel. It looks so simple and unassuming having only one or two flowers per tiny branch. But in profusion, the bushes would look like they were sprinkled with snow." [inspired by a photo 'an angel in blue' from ged, flickr.com]

    Little White Angel

    by BlueFheiry

    Little flower
    blossoms low
    like true wonder
    amidst snow
    and flow of wonder

    Behold such beauty
    for a while
    in littleness and simplicity
    sculptured undefile
    all from true purity

    Treasured forever
    in little less time
    when a tiny flower uncover
    its naive bliss sublime
    bringing queens to shatter

    Captivate every creature
    enticing all every kings
    a scent of sweet nature
    all inside this tiny blossomings
    sending armies strength to endure

One smooth stem crafted for years
    under sun and cold nights
into soil of barrenness of tears
    set firmly in lonely lights
of joy unfulfilled and many fears

Grasp by the claw of dirt
    quench love from clear waters
    that fill this moorland earth
    and blew away untame fears
of no more hope for rebirth

    Little pale blue flower,
    thou hast lost thy wonder
    of the rivulets of power
    that once thou hast discovered
since thou hast chosen to live life simpler

    Little flower
    dies of thy own
    ashes of tear
    that is unknown
and yet thou hast to recover

Threshed from being a sole lonely flower
hast become now a white flame angel
living not in fears or terror
died of thy own and fell
    laying down life for another
