• It was a time of smiles,
    A time of joy.
    She was young, happy,and free.
She had not a care in the world.

    Then the teacher annonced
That there was to be a new student.
    This didnt bug her.
    A new student was common.

    Then he walked in.
    He had beuatiful, Auquamarien eyes,
That not even the sea could compare with.
    His stunning blonde hair,
And the face that she thought was never to be forgoten.
    But these things she ignored.
    She didnt want a romance.

She quickly became friends with him.
    They never became more,
Than two kids that were always talking and smiling.
    Together for always.
    Or so it seemed.

    The girl moved away,
    And she quickly forgot,
    His face,
    His smile,
    His laugh.
His every little detail she forgot.
She never knew how much she'd regret.

    Her knew school was small.
    Just like the old.
She walked into the class one day,
And she was partered up with him.
    He had deep brown eyes,
That she coul stare into forever,
    And he would let her.
He told her he loved her,
She smiled, blushed and brushed it off
    And then he left.

The summer came and he was back.
She had found out that she loved him.
But he told her he didnt feel the same anymore.
    That she was to late.

    The school year came back.
She tried to push him away,
And forget everything that he'd shown her.
    The love, truth, and joy.
She tried to forget her regrets.

They were by the lake for a class trip.
Her friends from the old school were there to.
    She smiled and said hi.
    But walked away.

She was talking to her new friends,
When one of them pointed out a boy that stared at her lovingly.
    With beuatiful, sea-green eyes,
    Stunning blonde hair,
And a face that she thought she'd never forget.
It was him. The new kid of old.

    But she had forgotten.
    And for that she regretted.
Every time she thought of any other.
    And she regretted.

As time passed she learned that she shouldnt regret,
But learn from the mistakes she'd made.
And she will never forget them,
    No matter what.
