I lie in the doorway...
No-one comes to find me in the empty darkness

My voice echoes through the shadows
And I wander though my empty thoughts aimlessly

Shadows follow me and I feel nothing lurking
I wander in the darkness without an end
I try to find you waiting somewhere for me
And I remain silent for eternity

I don't believe you are coming for me
Though I don't believe I'll die alone
I pray for a light to shine at the end of this life
Born alone, die with me
Every death shines without dignity
