What I Feel

  This is a FREE VERSE poem, just like every other poem I hav eposted up, and likely ever will, the rhyme scheme isn't set, it will vary from time to time, in fact If I didn't want it to, I wouldn't have to make it rhyme at all, and it would still be a free verse.

This feeling of longing
Never leaves my mind,
And i'd search forever
if there was any chance to find

A place where you and I could be
Alone, away from everything
And everyone that keeps us apart
You'd be my queen, with I as king

But one can fantasize about
What they know won't prove true,
No matter how much I desire
I lack the courage to make a move

Situations like that
Have always given me a hard time
But this is far worse--
The thought that you could be mine

Will I become brave enough to ask?
Or let this feeling pain me for all time?
Maybe I should just continue to think
That one day, you could be mine.

I'm always off in my own little world
Full of uncertain fates
All because I lack the courage
To ask you out on a date
