• Think not of the inevitable end that is nigh
It may make you scared, make you cover your eyes

Think not of the afterlife, or what lies ahead
Think of prettier things, like love, instead

Think not of anything that may cause you pain
Because no matter how hard you think, nothing will change

Just live your life, satisfied with the simple pleasures
Like green slips of paper, and how wide your house measures

For those things are all that matters, not life, and not death
We must strive to those goals with each moment, each breath

And then once we're gone, and the world is dark once more
There will be plenty of time to think of the things we shunned before

Think not of our true meaning, think not of damnation
And move on, my friends, to better topics of conversation
