• Train Men

The train men took my mom, you know,
    They wouldn't give her back.
The train men took my dad, as well,
    Our future had turned black.

The train men didn't care for us,
    There wasn't any space.
The train men shoved us into cars,
To ship us to some place.

The train men brought us here, you know,
They brought us to this camp.
The train men marched us single file
As we walked off the ramp.

The train men scare me a lot, you know,
They are not nice at all.
The train men shot a child, you know,
    As ash began to fall.

The train men killed my mom, you know,
    Shot between the eyes.
The train men shipped dad off somewhere,
    To work until he dies.

The train men found some kids, you know,
    Ones that tried to hide.
The train men went and shot them all,
And I died a little inside.

I can't take it anymore, you know,
    Really, I just can't.
The train men killed far too many,
I had to make a stand.

The train men let down their guard, you know,
I managed to get a gun.
The train men would lose a man today,
Even if it was only one.

I don't know where I am, you know,
    Though I'm happier this way.
The train men have killed me, you know,
But I'll see my mom again.
