• If I could give you the world
    And everything in it
You could watch the pelicans fly
    And the Howling Monkeys howl
I would sway the trees for you
Make the leaves rustle in the wind
    I would ripple the oceans
    Water lapping at your feet
    I would call all mice
    And sing you a melody
I would holler to the deer
    And dance you a symphony
    I would command all lions
    And kiss you goodnight
I would twinkle the stars brighter
    The sun would shine dimmer
    I would lay beside you
And watch you as you sleep
Tell you of stories and fairytales
    Tell you of woodland animals
    And ocean creatures
If I could give you the world
    And everything in it
    I truly would
But sadly, I only fly the skies
    I don't control Mother Nature
    I don't control Mother Earth
    I am Father Time
I can't give you the world
But I can give you a life
