I love the way you smile
and love the way you laugh
it's confusing and overwhelming
but I guess I just may have to live with that
I wish you could see
how much you mean to me
how your smile brigtens my day
like the sun rays on a cloudy day

and until you feel the same
I'll wait for you in the shade
the day that we first met on that
beautiful summer's day

and mabye if someday
you finally feel the same way
I'll be waiting there
taking in all that fresh crisp air

waiting for the one
I though you had become
that really sweet guy
you know the one you try to hide
