• Stay out of their way,
    No shadows are safe,
    Smalls spots of dust,
    That are death unknowingly,

    Then there are those who,
    Weep in there sorrow,
    And we are lulled,
Into a false sense of security,
Then we blink and they strike us down,

    The killers of the night,
    Of the shadows and blindness,
    So fast and invisible,
    We never stood a chance,

    We may try to run,
But a blink could set them loose,
Our second shadow leaves us as bones,
    A moment passes by,
    Our death is their life.
