It seemed that from the day I was born,
I had no specific home.
A million faces,
A million places,
Yet so many more to come.
It seemed that whenever I went out,
Everyone had something to talk about,
With me,
And my memories,
We stretch around the world.
New York, Paris, and Nepal,
I'll be around just give me a call,
Canada, Oman, the Tahsmahal,
Been around the world, been to them all.
I belong on a train or in a taxi driving north,
A late flying plane is definitely one worth waiting for,
Don't wait too long,
I'll be back soon!
New York, Paris, and Nepal,
I'll be around just give me a call,
Canada, Oman, the Tahsmahal,
Been around the world, been to them all.
It seemed that from the day I was born,
I had no specific home,
The world was my backyard,
Lookin' up at all the stars,
As I travel 'round the world.
