there is knowledge renown for it's annoyance towards it's inhibitors
called, with sakes to stupidity, the way
taught upon by saints and loons alike,
lost in the grip of some plot the other always readies
while the Devil watches below smothered in a father's jealous appeal
considering that we breath as
unholy riders of feared apocolypse
the hold of worldly truth in locked boxes
sewn into horrific heart shaped sleeves
in all the wrong places (the mind, the eyes, the gut)
remains "the way"
i look at the people around me
catching mere glimpses of faithless hope
as we blend together
carving crude paths in a roughed Earth
that lead
deeper along the way
