• We all deserve a chance to fly:
the saints, the sinners, and I.
Up, and up, and up we'll rise
'cause we all want to shine.

We all deserve a chance to love:
    the ravens and the doves.
It may not be a gift from above,
but what else can we take hold of?

We all deserve a chance to live:
those who take and those who give.
And before Death comes to take us captive,
we all must learn to forgive.

We all deserve a chance to breathe:
we who deny and we who believe.
    Do not fear the beautiful thieves;
    they listen to your pleas.

We all deserve a chance to die:
those who laugh and those who cry.
We must sleep when we're done with our lives.
Is there a better reason why?

We all deserve a chance to hate:
the ones who destroy and the ones who create.
It's a poison that does naught but complicate,
and it's a poison in all of our fates.

We all deserve a chance to burn:
the lost, the unknowing, and the learned.
There comes a time, don't be concerned,
when we must pick a place to turn.
