• Up in the air
    I used to be
    Living without care
    Dreaming good dreams

    But then, I fell
    Shot out of the sky
    Tumbling towards Hell
    Inquiring why

    My only assist
    An affectionate blade
    Earnestly caressing my wrist
    Inviting me to fade

    Blood stained my palms
    Tears streaked my face
    An odd calm
    Tinged with disgrace

    Remembering when
    The world was a song
    I could only begin
To question how it went wrong

    Those days in the sky
    Were wondrous and grand
    But things went awry
I am the fallen, who can no longer stand

I fell from the blue expanse
    Spinning round and round
    Participating in Death's dance
As I tried to gain ground

    No one shed a tear
For the loss of my sanity
I found it was perfectly clear
I had entered the World of Inhumanity

When the world fades to black
    And Day turns to Night
    I will come back
    And again take flight

    Only to fall
    When light comes again
    Obvious punishment
    For my treacherous sins
