• Again I'm torn in multiple parts,
    Victim to a bleeding heart's
    Desperate search to find repair.
A search to find a matching tear.

One that fits to all my traits,
Whose curves give way to all my straits.
One that compliments all of my quirks,
And provides his own unique perks.

What I need to help attach,
My other half... my perfect match
Is Love so clean, a perfect cure
To make the product so secure.

Some tape to meld two broken pieces.
A glue to cement the new found creases.
A pill to dull the pain of mending.
The tool to ease the strain of bending.

    The many-faceted fix for all
    My problems, big and small
Is waiting somewhere to be found
And create a craft that's so profound.

Something that will endure the weather
And hold my two pieces together.
A shelter in which to diffuse each fight,
A tablet and pen with which to write

My every struggle into the past
So I can be weightless at long last,
And spend eternity with the one
From which I'll never be undone.
