You tell of humans
Something I'll never be
You tell of hate
Something I wish not to see
You tell of inspiration
Something I'll never hold
You tell of dreams
Something I'll leave untold
You tell of love being a lie
That's when I open my eyes

I tell of hope and grace
That I have seen on her face
I tell of words spoken from the heart
Dodging the destruction of the fiery dart
I tell of peace and friends
Something we both know will never happen
I tell of myself
And ask if you need any help
