Watching for nothing, watching for everything
Searching for something, searching for anything
See the reflection on faded glass
Like memories forgotten as time does pass
Watching blue thread stitch up seams
Like piecing together parts of dreams
Looking at the stars in the satin night
Like little fireflies giving off light
Seeing how rain is as clear as air
Reminding me of what isn’t there
I see in the picture things not shown
I see in the picture things unknown
Waiting for anyone, waiting for someone
Hiding from everyone, hiding from no one

Description:
I'm starting to forget which poems I've already posted from my total list of poems, but I don't think I've posted this one. I did it for a class a long time ago, putting bits and pieces of other poems in it, so yeah, if it sounds familiar...
If you liked it, please comment! I love all the comments, seeing your interpretation and what you liked of the poem, or if you liked it at all! - Date: 08/12/2010

- Hmm, it all seems a little stilted to me. Try using assonance or consonance to increase the flow of the piece.
