• Sometimes I wonder the true value of words.

Can you capture the beauty of a sunset in neat and tidy words?

Can you explain thoughts and wonders going ‘round in a genius’ head in only words?

Can you share the experience of a life time through a couple words?

Can you make a blind person see the vivid burst of red in a sunrise? Or the deep melodious blue that fills the spaces in the night sky?

Can you write a passage to a deaf person explaining how rich music is? Can you make that person hear the steady flow of a piano?

Can you give a child the experience of unconditional love in just words?

Can you express passion to a stranger?

Can you share the feeling of heartbreak to a friend?

Can you explain why a dancer needs to move at the first chord struck?

Can you tell me exactly what it feels like for an actor when they go on stage and perform?

Can you give me the thrill that a driver has when going around the race track?

Can you make me feel as if I know what it is like to live in Africa with AIDs all around with just words?

Can you truly give me a taste of flying with only your words?

    The answer is no.
    Words are powerful.
They can change minds and inspire millions.

    But

They can never fully express a feeling, and emotion, an experience, or love.

So what I say to you now is

while we may never know what it feels like to fly, to jump to the moon, or a million other things

our experiences, however small, are just as important and unexplainable as the life changing ones. So don’t waste your life trying to find the words to describe the wonders of the world.
