• I watch the children around me laugh and play like animals off the forest; happy, free
Even though they surround me, I am completely isolated from them, as if I were on a completely different island
As I walk through previously unexplored passages, I fear what is to become of me
Though I am open to new experiences, even the thought thought of this one brings tears to my eyes
Approaching my destination, I feel a sudden dread
As I look inside the room where my torture is to take place, I see angry eyes looking back at me, with an expression like a panther ready to strike
When I walk inside I feel my soul plummet, as if falling through an endless abyss
If there was one thing I didn't expect though, it was that the room was silent, peaceful, and strangely calming
Surprisingly, I preferred this silence to the chatter of my peers, loud like screaming banshees
    I feel blissful
