Oh Agony

• Description: I wrote this poem a few weeks ago and I wanted to get some feedback on it. The poem in a nutshell is a conflict between the speaker and his love, She is dead and he is left on the earth without her. He grieves for her until he realizes that he should be happy for her. He knows she would have never wanted it to be like this. She is then finally able to rest when she sees that he is happy again.

Oh Agony Oh Agony,

Please Just Let Me Be?

I Sing My Lonely Song,

To Sit Alone Without Her.



Found Bound Behind The Gray Sky,

The Sun The Sun.

Held Out Not Found,

She Cries The Sky The Sky.



Her Tears Are But The Rain,

How Can She Still Feel Pain?

Down Upon Me Her Only Love She Watches,

We Cry Together Together.



Look Up Look Up,

I Smile Upon The Dark Skies.

The Sun Shines Through The Gray Clouds,

She Smiles Down Back At Me.



Oh Peace Oh Peace,

She Sleeps At Last.

Be Happy The Light The Light,

She Is Still But Mine.



And Forever I Shall Be Hers.
