• The Darkness awaits,
    So cruel,
    So empty,
    So far away.

    But in my heart,
    It lurks,
    Creeping in,
    Taking over.

    But in the Battle,
    A bright flash of white,
    Met by a flash of black,
    Battle it out,
    For the same prize,
    One will win,
    One will lose.

    The Darkness still lurks,
    Deep in my mind,
    Threating to come out and play,
    And destroy all i that i love.

    But, in front of my mind,
    A comfort of white,
    The soothing sound,
    So bright.

    I was saved that day,
    When Light entered,
    It washed away,
    All the bad,
    All the dark.

    From that day on,
    I never again,
    Saw the blackness,
    That evil darkness,
    Never again,
    Shall haunt my mind.
