  I don't write much, I've attempted to write songs before, but I find I'm better at chords and melodies than lyrics. This was written during, let's say a very "boring" time in my life, and is basically just about how I wanted to rediscover some passion; be it good or bad.

Like writing it down but I can't find the rhyme.

Like holding my breath before breaking the surface,
Like I want to tell you, but I'm just too nervous.

It's that shake in my knees, it's that kick in my leg,
It's that pain in my gut, it's that throb in my head.

It's that skip in my step, it's that flame in my soul,
It's that glint in my eye, it's that piece being whole.

That pain, that hurt, that lust, that shame,
That love, that want, I want that thing!

But now I'm so numb, I feel so restrained,
And I'd do anything just to feel again.
