• Somewhere in a dark land, Very far away.

There is a black stone castle, In which no one seems to stay.

It sits atop a jagged mountain, Inside a barbedwire fence.

By simple mention of its name, Do pure maidens hearts wrench.

It spires twisting upward, Yelling curses at the sky.

Gods turns his head in shame, And the angels twist and writhe.

The land around is barren, All strickened with disease.

Such a damned place this is, Bringing heroes to their knee’s.

This place is truly wicked, Hidden inside my mind.

Malevolent in its eternal watch and sinister by design.

In this twisted fortress, There keeps The Animal Queen.

She sits upon a throne, passing judgment, Which she nevers seems to mean.

Her eyes are jade and darkened; From worries and long war.

She is bound to this forsaken sanctuary until forever more.

She adjust her robe of wilted roses, And begins to weep.

For a broken promise that she strived so hard to keep.

From the day she met him, She sensed he was in pain.

Due to her predatory instincts she began to play the game.

But midway through this puzzle it hit her like a stone.

That she had already qeustioned to whom she did belong.

This picture perfect angel that had popped into her life.

She struggled hard to keep him, But only caused more strife.

She raised her sceptre high, and threw it the ground.

And tore off from her head, The poison shard glass crown.

‘Why do I feel so helpless?!’ she yelled at her reflection.

‘Must I have to choose between misery and perfection?!’.

She curled into a corner and let out a heavy sigh.

Though the Queen was still breathing, Inside she had started to die.

She walked right to the dungeon, And squeezed through the rusted bars.

She knelt down beside her prisoner and began to kiss his scars.

They talked about this problem until morning broke.

Coming to the conclusion, She was doomed to always be alone.

Slowly the two walked to the front gate.

She held the prisoner close, Whispering hopes of better fate.

A claw ran through his hair, Being gentle for she was a beast.

And with a loathing snarl, From him she did release.

With a jerk of her horned head she let out one last scream.

‘Don’t ever forget I Love You!’ She bellowed at her Human King.

She turned her bony back and flicked her lashing tail.

And since that day had ended, Her kingdom fell under spell.

The common folk all perished, A slow and painful death.

The Animal Queen only cackled as her servants drew last breath.

Her fangs drew back in pleasure when her friends all finally passed.

As her life lay in ruin, She only found she could only laugh.

‘I hope you’re really happy! After eveything I’ve done!’.

And she raised her middle finger in direction to the Sun.

The Animal Queen sharpened her favorite bejeweled knife.

But no matter what she did she always returned to life.

Besides her sacred seat, There is a empty chair.

Which no man can occupy, Because no man seems to care.

Her charred throat moans out sick memories, Of which the monster does cling.

Because she was loved by no one, Besides her banished Human King.

So now inside this lonely, loathsome castle.

    Deep inside my mind.

    Sits The Undead Animal Queen.

    The only of her kind.
