• Is it selfish to say that I wanted the world to end?
As I laid in your arms, and saw the sky’s stars descend?

There’s 7 billion people with us, but it’s cruel to say that I only need you.
So let the meteors crash, and let an uprising war continue.

The sun got the idea; it left before all the trouble could start,
As I silently wanted to die hearing the soft beats of your heart.

And I know it sounds crazy, but I dared the sky to show me a shooting star,
To make my wish come true, and let my soul whisper an au revoir.

Our legs intertwined, and our bodies were glued together for so long,
That my mind had this fixated thought that this is where I belong.

Egotistical it seemed at the time but my decision was already made,
If the world would have ended, I’d hold on to you tighter and stayed.

Let the earth start to crumble, let the mountains themselves shake,
Let the waves come crashing down with the sounds they would make.

Because here in your arms I am safe from the dangers that lurk all around,
Just promise you’ll stay here when the stars start to fall to the ground.

There's no other place I'd rather be than here by your side,
Let's close our eyes, and kiss when the planets collide.
