The pain is immeasurable
the cuts, beyond counting
as frequent as the stars
as deep as the soul
I turn to you to bind me up
yet you turn your head in disgust
your ears, deaf to my pleas
making your eyes blind
the bliss of ignorance,
chosen so easily of the pain of reality
shielding you from my pain
leaving me alone,
stranded in the world of pain
as you avoid that which you do not comprehend
do not wish to comprehend
and i find my self at a loss
i reach for you,
your rebuttal cut me deeper than any blade could ever
and my blood pools,
slowly draining me.
time is running out for me i am afraid
like a broken hour glass,
soon i will be all gone
an empty shell, easily disposed of
the happiness gone, leaving only empty pain
with which the world is better without.

I'd offer to help, but
You make yourselves this way.
If you want help you need to learn to be happy.
You make yourselves depressed, even when the going's good.
A starving, broken, loveless, orphaned child in the middle of nowhere would take your life any day
And be happy
Be happy for what you have.
Because god knows others have it worse. They do.Anyway, I like the poem, but not the idea.4/5.
I offer my help anyway, if you truly need it - Report As Spam
