-
Eyes crying for a Hell-bound seraphim;
Hands tremble when her kind eyes stare at him.
Minds crumble at torment they had begotten;
A torrent of all importance envelopes their wooden coffin.
Touch fading for a wide-eyed heroine;
Hope wading with a cyanide bedouin.
Words crawling as needles into the flesh
Boring in the adored, imploring the unadressed.
And perhaps this game-playing was for too long;
We lapsed our love, lost light and we'll move on;
We've long forgotten the words and we'll sing a new song
To which we've tried to dance, now, lost lover, for too long.
