• I lay upon the soft green grass and feel the crisp wind blow
I watch the crinkly brown leaves and enjoy them before autumn turns to snow.
I close my eyes as the wind kisses my face,
It caresses my hair as I watch the leaves race.
The flowers are slowly preparing for winter as the mothers bring out the winter coats.
The children, they feel Christmas, upon the very air they breathe, it floats
Autumn hugs me one last time, I reminisce upon the past and the good times now gone.
But I look onward, toast the future, I say a final farewell, So long.
