My mom's an extreme alcoholic. So bad, that if one drop gets into her system, she drinks every drop of any alcoholic anything in the house -- then she ******** drives to the store for more.
Her liver's already been damaged to the point in which she's lost 10 years of her life, and the doctors say that if she keeps drinking, she won't see '09. I've tried to intervene repeatedly, even to the point in which I keep the bottles in my room, and she would sneak into my room in the middle of the night to steal the bottles back. I don't want my mom to die, but at this rate, she's dooming herself very quickly.
Last night, she got drunk again and started screaming at her boyfriend from 9pm till 2am. We live in a very poorly constructed trailer, so the walls are paper thin, and I was awake until she stopped. THEN at 6am, it started again.
I might have to send her to rehab, but I would think she'd only start up again the moment she got within a mile of anything alcoholic.
