A misty morning in a dense forest. The trees stand tall and silent, the ground lay frozen beneath them. A gentle wind, whistling throught the branches; the soft sound comforting my ears. I lay motionless in a bed of leaves, looking up to the grey-clouded sky. The morning dew present on my flushed cheeks. I stay completing still, fearing that if I move I will disrupt this grave beauty. I want to be a part of it, be truley and naturally beautiful. To be a part of the peace, the quiet, the grace. I would behold the greatest of powers, and be capable of entrancing people by a single glance in my direction. I continue to stare in awe at the scene all around me. And realize that this dream will never be breached. I am fully aware that I can never be among the trees. But for the little time I have to relax, I will choose to lay beneath them, and listen to the calming sounds of the beauty in nature.
