I feel more distant than I acted.

Can I trust that?

It's getting harder to do that.
"Shouting might have been the answer..."
What if it wasn't?
"What if I cried my eyes out and begged you not to depart?"
Would you even care?

You were sheltered because together we could stand the pain.
"A dream is a wish your heart makes." To have none would invite hopelessness and dispair.
And I can fight them because I know you're there rooting for me. And because of that, you are never far away.
It's a promise to die for....
And when it becomes to much, I'll be there to bear it with you.
I would be dying inside, wishing I could stay forever....
It would hurt more to know you didn't trust me to understand....
