The doors slam open as Zarak was storming out of the castle of the human's domain, Ky chasing after him. Ky: "Zarak, wait!" Zarak: "Don't try to stop me! I'll stop those fatasses from setencing our people to die by killing off our enemies that are making them do this!" Ky: "Zarak...you can't do this alone...talk to the Captain, see if you can-" Zarak: "Don't you get it? The Captain is bound to serve them and use his knights to do so, but I'm no knight...not anymore." Ky: "What are you saying?" Zarak: "Ky, you know what will happen if we do nothing. We die, all of us, even those fat bastards that think they can get away from here. If I go and fight the demons by myself and come back alive, they'll have a warrant out for my arrest. The lives of our foes being slain means nothing when it comes to the lives of the lazy a** counsilmen. They'll treat me like a traitor and a mass-murderer..." Ky: "At least...at least take me with you-" Zarak: "You know I can't do that. If you come with me you'll be made out as an accomplice." Ky: "Z-Zarak, please..." Zarak: "..." Ky: "I can't let you do this by yourself. If I'll be known as a criminal for doing this, then so be it!" Zarak: "...Ky...very well. We'll be partners in crime I suppose."
Casella: "...blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted..." Jared: "Comforted, huh?" God that's getting so annoying, I really wish it would stop... Casella: "Hmm? It seems your not alone..." Jared: "What?" I looked around me, and of course, it looked just like first floor did and what I presume the second and third floor did, darkness all around...but in the distance I could see a figure lying on the ground trying to catch his breath. I walked up to him and offered him a hand up. Jared: "Are you okay?" ??????: "Y-Yeah, I'm...alright...who are you?" Jared: "...just another here to cleanse the sins within me." ??????: "I see...in that case, we share the same purpose. Would you mind if I came with you?" Jared: "Um...Casella, is that alright to do?" ??????: "Casella?" Casella: "I suppose it is, though it's uncommon." Jared: "Whatever works. Name's Jared." Virgil: "Virgil." He reached out to shake my hand...but the second I grabbed his, a light appeared, like the first floor, but for some reason it seemed to be going away from us...but that wasn't the case. It wasn't going away from us. WE were going away from IT as the floor under us was moving us back at a high speed. The two of us ran as fast as we could, our hands still holding in case one of us fell and could help the other back up. Luckily, that didn't happen, at least to me. By the time we had gotten to the light, Virgil had fallen about seven times and it had taken about half an hour. Neither of us stopped running though. Whenever one of us slipped or completely fell, we got right back up and kept running. Even when we finally were enveloped by the light, we both just kept running, wishing this would just be over soon...
