I followed both Statius and Casella into Paradiso, Heaven. There, I saw angels everywhere, ones that had been accepted by the God of the Heavens to serve him, and the souls of many people all around us, ones that, like Statius, were cleansed of sin and enjoy paradise to the fullest. I have to be honest, I was in awe of it all, especially when we saw who we could only presume as God himself. I say 'who we could only presume as' because all we could see was a point of light that was a bright as the sun, yet it didn't hurt our eyes or blind us in the least, not even me, a demon. It's so ironic that I find myself here...but I'll do whatever it takes to help my family. God beckoned Statius into Heaven, since he was now ready to be embraced by God's light. Statius was guided by Casella into the light...and that was the last I saw of him. Casella came back out on the other hand and handed me a scroll. Casella: "Read this spell while next to your son. This is what you need in order to break the curse upon our world, the curse of Lucifer, but be warned, you will have to fight not only him off, but..." Jared: "Zarak as well. I understand...I won't allow him to live any longer..." I took the scroll and tied it at my belt. I had a feeling I knew what this did exactly, but to know for sure, I'd have to use it. After that, me and Casella both left Paradiso...I would've ask 'God' about one of the many questions that so many would want to ask, but somehow, I didn't think I would get a proper response, or he would just straight up and say no.
Before I left the angelic kingdom, I looked into and figured alittle out what happened to the people that I'd met in my time here. Statius, as we know already, finally got to heaven. I wonder if it really took him 108 tries though... Virgil, unfortunetly, did not make it. Purgatory is where you go when you die and your sins are not cleansed. It's the chance your given to get into Heaven, but at the same time, if your killed in this way, your soul is destroyed, hence, you have no afterlife if that happens. Frenum, the elder of the angel's domain, abdicated from his position saying that he was no longer worthy. Since then, he has been going through Purgatory. I wonder what he'll do when and if he gets through all the trials. To Heaven, back to the angelic kingdom, or somewhere completely different, who can say? Casella, the guide of souls, had taken the position of leader over the angelic domain in Frenum's absence. I would say elder...but she doesn't look old. At first I wondered if she'd make a good ruler, but I stopped myself. After all, I already knew the answer. She'll do just as good a job as my wife. As for me? Well, I have what I need, the only thing left to do before I left was contact Kage, see how he and my family were doing. With that, I blew my flute... Kage: "Master Jared!? Thank goodness your okay!" ...and there he was from the shadows. Jared: "O-Of course I'm alright Kage. What made you so worried that I wouldn't be?" Kage: "What else!? That blast of light coming from here!" Jared: "...oh, that. Don't worry about that...wait..." Kage: "If your wondering, yes, your wife and son saw that as well." Jared: "s**t...they aren't-" Kage: "No, they shouldn't be too worried anymore. I told them your fine and proved it when you called for me." Jared: "...? You reveiled yourself to them?" Kage: "I'm...sorry sir, she found me as I watched over her. It was a careless mistake and I-" Jared: "Stop. I know you, your better than that. You reveiled yourself to them." Kage: "..." Jared: "...but...as long as no one else found out of your presence, it's okay." Kage: "Huh? O-Oh, t-thank you sir, but why didn't you want anyone else to..." Jared: "There are still remenants of your rival guild within our land. I couldn't let you get caught up in what you shouldn't." Kage: "...oh I see. I suppose your right about that. Shall I...let them know your heading home?" Jared: "Only if you desire to do so. Your job will be complete when I arrive there and cure my son after all." Kage: "Indeed. I'll head back then and wait for you." With that, he was gone again. After he disappeared, I started to head back as well, leaving behind the angel's domain. Jared: "...the seven deadly sins...my soul and 'his' is cleansed of them. His power is weak, but he will try to take me over again as soon as he can in order to taint my soul again...I must cure my son before that happens. I will break his curse..and mine as well...for Ky...I will put Zarak to rest once and for all..."
And that ends the story of this Journal, but not my quest. To see that yourself, head to The Seven Deadly Sins to find out!
