I am a Christian,
I love Christ,
but I hate religious spammers.
I hate those that send out chain letters that prey on guilt to get people to forward and perpetuate their existence; I hate when someone posts irrelevant spam in threads that again tries to prey on guilt to get you to hit their links, quote them, or copy/paste into your signature and then again in every thread you enter.
This method of recruitment doesn't work, so just stop it. I allow my grandmother to get away with religious chain letters because, hell, she's my grandmother.
You, on the other hand, I have no problem calling an idiot and an all-around a**. You treat the gospel like a cult. Stop it. I can see no glory in spamming. Maybe you can, but I can't, and neither do the thousands you subject to this every day.
You alienate and anger more people than you recruit and save with these tactics.
Listen, I have no problem with you sharing your love of Christ with the world. That's great that you and the Lord have a close relationship, I'm happy for you, really, and I applaud you for declaring Him your Lord and Savior. But trying to guilt others into the same, or worst of all, using the scare-tactic of hell as a means of recruitment makes you no better than a cult. Our religion is a great one, and deserves more respect than being trivialized as mere spam.
Just wear your "Jesus is My Homeboy" t-shirt and slap a Holy Mackerel on your bumper, and let others approach you when they're ready.
Remember that, before you "forward this message to ten people."
