For some answers
Nesa picked up her pace yet again as she trailed behind the fast moving assassin. She figured that she had made the wrong move in directing the assassin towards his target and as soon as quickly as she had lifted her hand to point over to a building at the other end of an alley Ingram had set into motion moving forward with little heed for anyone around him as one man found out when Ingram nearly shoved him through a flimsy wooden door. "your not one for conversation are you?" Nesa asked knowing very well that Ingram would not answer her. The young woman persisted in following the assassin apparently not even noticing the angry look in his eyes as he shot her a glance when she got to close, didn't notice or didn't care. As Ingram closed in on the building to large men closed in at the front of the door their blades drawn as they eyed the assassin warrior duo. I think your in the wrong place boy" One of the brutes spat mockingly at the assassin who simply stood their unfeeling in perfect Icy calm. The second man laughed in a way that almost sounded more like a grunt" you must be deaf boy" again with a mocking tone and yet still Ingram showed no emotion. The two men glanced at each other and one of them shrugged right before he moved to grab at Ingram and that just before a flicker of silver light flashed before him followed by a line of crimson red blood spurting out of the gash in his wrist that materialized and soon went from one end to the other. So fast was Ingram's reaction that the man had no chance to counter and nor could he for even as he became aware of his missing hand the assassin began twisting his arm and wrist letting out a series of rhythmical slashes up to down and straight across his chest dropping the guard. The second man charged and nearly caught the assassin but Ingram leapt back and lashed out with a backhand slash causing the guard to fall back in a defensive stance from which he launched a heavy overhand chop. Ingram sidestepped and parried the blade off to the side sending a quick kick right into the mans left thigh dropping him to one knee. The man arose quickly pushing the attack again with a wild series of unpredictable strikes many of which barely even reached Ingram others passing dangerously close to his face, neck, and chest. Ingram scowled as the Brute gained confidence and let a few insults fly but before he could say more than five or six words Ingram had dashed past his assault and was closing in his dagger out and thrusting forward violently. The man growled in pain as the dagger slashed his leg then his arm and soon he had wounds covering him but not one a killing blow. The man began to laugh but stopped as he caught the unearthly smile of his opponent stretching across his face in a way that seemed so unnatural. The man's muscles twisted and pulled as the magic of the dagger did it's work numbing and paralyzing the area around the wounds spreading out across his body leaving the man a limp heap on the ground as he simply stared up in complete terror as Ingram's face stepped right before his those cold eyes burning into his soul destroying his defenses killing his confidence. "You are a fool, If I had wanted you dead I would have done so and left you much in the state as your former friend, but I need to know something" this was Ingram's more vicious way of collecting information, his dangerous dagger would leave the enemy helpless something that even the best fighters could attest to as being one of the most horrifying ordeals for any warrior for in that state all of their pride, skill, and strength meant nothing and Ingram was in complete control the life of his foe completely in the palm of his hand. The brute told Ingram everything he wanted to know, Ingram found how many men where inside what traps were set and where they could be found and much more. The assassin walked in leaving the vanquished guard lying in the street very much alive although completely disgraced and worthless for a number of many hours, Nesa smiled to herself as she thought how unnecessary Ingram's caution had been as she would have just charged in, she pushed on behind Ingram who at that point truly thought about killing the girl, he even fidgeted with his dagger a few times drawing it half way then returning it back to its sheath as he told himself it wasn't worth it no matter how annoying. Ingram looked about the well decorated building and thought of how different it looked from the outside. Inside there were silk rugs and large plush pillows upon which many sat or in the case of the less sober "slept". Ingram caught the attention of a few nearby men who quickly shrugged and went back to their respective conversations. Nesa on the other hand caught the attention of nearly every male in the room, they looked her over up and down, even her dirty golden hair and battered armor didn't detract from her over all beauty. Ingram noticed the stares and mocked "you seem to be rather popular" Nesa smiled warmly" I hope some one tries something so I can lay them flat on their face" even Ingram let out a quite chuckle at the idea knowing full well that the warrior meant it. "WELL MET FRIENDS...OR FOES" a booming voice traveled across the large room" The pairs eyes set on an elevated platform where a grey haired and yet vigores and hearty man sat with a young girl dressed in a fine white gown with gold inlaid stitching. Ingram noted the guards more experienced than the two before he expected them as he knew already that Lord sin sat there, it was time for some answers.
