Ingram moved across the docks, it was a part of the city rarely visited by the
citizens. The docks teemed with sailors, ship masters, and a few merchants on
there way to retrieve imported goods. The salty air sea air stung Ingram's nostrils at
first but he quickly adjusted and soon came find he rather enjoyed the smell, the
ocean stretched out into the horizon and met with the setting sun creating ripples of
golden light on the evening shores. Bethany followed behind him and took in the
sights and sounds. Bethany had traveled from town to town and had always loved
the trading ports and docks where men and women from all manner of places far
and wide ended up along with their exaggerated tales of adventures at sea. Ingram
picked up his pace ever so slightly as he spotted a group of men eying his blades,
two of the men whispered to each other never taking their eyes off of Ingram.
"Bethany why don't you find us an inn for the night, if you can." Bethany eyed
Ingram curiously who up till that point had spoken to her mostly out of annoyance
or necessity but now he was making a request, Bethany decided he had his
reasons and even now she admitted that she could feel her self getting tired.
"Alright after I get us some rooms we can meet up at the tavern over on the east..."
"Fine!" Ingram's voice came out dark and full of anger the same way it had been
before killing some of the guards they had encountered earlier, it was a voice that
she disliked but quickly recognized she was not the target of Ingram's ire.
"alright." Bethany walked away and as she left she manged to catch a fierce grin on
Ingram's face as he moved himself towards a group of rowdy sailors, things were
about to get very loud.
