I saw one of my best friends over the weekend.
Well, actually I saw the two people who I would
give that title to. We had a great time Saturday night-
they even preoccupied me so much that I missed Full Metal,
twice.
But we bugged J at work, and Fey Fey and I went around
checking out new manga, DVDs, etc. I found a copy of The
Boondock Saints for a decent price, so I bought it and
made them watch it with me. I friggin' love that movie.
But it was around 4 am before I finally got them to leave.
Sure, I was having fun, but at some point I like to sleep.
But when Fey Fey cleared out J stayed for about another
hour, so he could dish out all the s**t he'd been going through.
I forgot that I normally play guidance counselor for him.
I kinda felt bad I' missed out on all of his s**t.
And Fey Fey I found out had actually not gone out and socialized
since she graduated high school. Damn. So I basically told
her not to expect to get home before midnight during the Christmas
break, because I'll be keeping her out and socializing.
I missed my friends, my real friends. It was so good to see them again.
You just get so caught up in your own life, in your own problems,
you forget about the people you care for, especially when you
don't see them as often anymore. I missed them so much,
I just didn't realize how much.
