The girl remains silent. She stares at me hard, and for a moment I see a flicker of sadness in her eyes. Before I can do anything, my staff goes flying through the air and into the ruins of my palace. I gawk at the loss of my staff. As it burns, blue magic sparks from it, and the red sky lights up blue with fireworks. I didn't need the staff to do magic, but-
The girl starts toward me at full speed, but I regain my composure and flip myself over her head. She turns to face me, and chunks of rock rise out of the ground around her. They're flung at me, but I dodge them by jumping out of the way. I didn't expect to get hit by a smaller peice of stone that I hadn't seen.
It digs into my arm, and I loose my balance in the pain. The girl is walking toward me as I hold my arm. I sense a strange energy around her, she's not like anyone I've ever met before.
"I don't suppose you could tell me what you want? Maybe I can help you?" I offer with a forced smile.
"You will help me... By letting me kill you..." She says, her chilling eyes are peircing through her red hair. If a single look could kill, I would already be dead.
"Now why would I do a thing like that? You see, I don't plan on dying here. I still have things I need to do..." She narrows her eyes and chunks of the ground levitate around her again. I dart past the rocks to the girl who is unable to stop me. I tackle her to the ground and pin her down. The rocks fly in different directions, and she struggles for a moment.
"Now why don't you tell me what's going on...?"
