Chi stares at me in curiousity as I set down the girl. She's still unconsious, just as she'd been when I carried her out to the place where I'd left Chi. I'd bound her by a spell so that she'd not be able to harm us when she awoke. For extra precaution, I tied a peice of cloth over her eyes as a blindfold.
"Who is she?" Chi questions. She moves next to the girl and reaches to remove the blindfold.
"Don't touch her!" I snap, startling Chi. She turns her gaze toward me. "She... could be dangerous...." I warn quietly. Chi looks baffled. "Anyway, you should get some rest Chi... I'll watch over the girl in case she wakes up..." I give her a bright smile as if to say it's alright, and take off my cloak for her. She hesitantly nods and takes my cloak, covering herself with it. I put an arm around her and she leans against my chest, closing her eyes.
My eyes dart from her to the darkness around me. There could still be dangers waiting... Killers hiding... I look to the red-haired girl. Who is she...? Where did she come from...? What does she want...?
I'm startled when she suddenly makes a noise. I watch her start to wake up. She wiggles alittle... Then she gasps and says, "I can't move! Why can't I move!? Where am I?! Why can't I see anything?!" Chi shifts in my arms.
"It's okay, you're going to be alright..." I say, carefully moving Chi off of me. I don't mean to wake her, but she wakes anyway.
