I know. It's been a while since i made an entry. Here are little reviews of 2 movies I've seen recently.
G.I. Joe: Pretty good action movie and surprisingly had a decent story, with history behind certain things in it, which was good. Overall, I recommend this movie to any action fans. Old school G.I. Joe fans may be a bit upset though. Certain changes they made, weren't to my liking. One example would be Cobra Commander. He no longer has either of the old school helmets. Instead, he has some odd transparent, full head, thing. And no, I won't say that's a spoiler. It was shown on the figure, which was out before the movie.
My main dislike of the movie was a chase scene, involving a van. I won't go into details about it here though.
Again, this is a good movie. I saw it in the theater with my younger brother and his kid.
Watchmen: Three words described this movie. Violent, violent, violent... ok, so maybe 1 word. This is NOT your Spider-man kind of superhero movie. It's very violent, bloody, has swearing, nudity and a sex scene.
This movie is about masked heroes who serve justice to criminals. The masked heroes, aka the Watchmen, all seem to be just mortal normal humans, aside from being great fighters and strong. Though their is one, which isn't human, Mr. Manhattan. He has some... powers.
I recommend this to anyone who enjoy action movies. It's even got a mystery to it too.
WARNING: This movie contains a lot of swearing, Mr. Manhattan naked (almost every scene he is in), nudity, people on fire, people exploding, breaking limbs, blood, guts... NOT for kids.
