Chapter 2

arrived at a city soon after my departure from the grasslands. The city was unlike anything I had ever seen. It was made of iron and steel. I made my way into the city. The streets were full of people trying to sell strange devices and antiques. There were even some vendors trying to sell swords and other weapons. I stopped at one of the weapon vendors to browse his merchandise and also to ask a few questions. "Excuse me, Sir. What is the name of this city?" He gave me am awkward look. "This is Einbroch, The City of Steel. You're not from around here are you? Most people have heard of Einbroch before." I stared questioningly at him. "No, I am not from around here. This area is very hard to traverse. I had to cross a valley to get here." He gave me a good look and his eyes opened up wide. "Are you one of the soldiers from the Audhumbla War!?" I got a little scared. "I...I...don't know. I lost my memory. I woke up surrounded by bodies and drenched in blood. But I have no idea as to where I am or where I should even go." He nodded. "Okay, I think I can help you out. I'll give you this free Transportation Pass. With this, you can ride the airship to Izlude.From there, head to Prontera. You should be able to find some info there. Oh, and here's a new sword, on the house. Just make sure you handle it with care." I just stared at him. "Thank you so much, kind sir. I will pay you back for this." He gestured me to not worry about paying him back and I left to the Einbroch Airport. "I guess I must look for my answers throughout this land. These voices in my head are getting louder. I should seek out a Sage and ask him about this."
