My Story...
This is where my experiences on this quest so far.
Chapter 5

I headed for the Northern Prontera gate and walked across the drawbridge. My face almost beaming with the lead I had, I trudged on towards the Prontera Courtyard. As I walked on, I observed the beautiful garden around me. Plenty of flowers and Shrubs lined in small areas along the beautifully carved stone walls. The Northern Gate came into sight and I started to speed up my walking. I crossed the drawbridge to Northern Prontera Field. I took in all the sights around me. Green trees and small animals running abound. I started my walk towards Al De Baran. I decided maybe I should try to take a shortcut through the woods and made my way towards them. A few mintues into the woods, I realized that I had become lost within the brush. I started to panic a little due to not knowing which way I had come in. I decided to lean against the nearest tree to think. "So...I came in through a southern entrance so I should..." Next thing I knew was I was being pulled across the ground by my leg. I tried to see what was wrapped around my leg but I was being dragged through small bushes and I couldn't look because the small branches kept hitting my face. As soon as the dragging stopped, I looked to see what had grabbed me. My face turned white. It was a mandragora, and it was drooling... I had just enough time to grab my sword from my waist and slash at an incoming tendril. Afterwards, I slashed at the one holding my leg and was able to break free. I stood up, ready to face my opponent. Three more tendrils came lashing out at me. I cut own two of them but the third one wrapped around my throat before I had a chance to swing at it. It lifted me up off the ground whilst still choking me. I felt my mind going blank...and then... darkness... I woke up next to a steaming pile of Mandragora. Surprised, I fumbled backwards to find my sword. But, I didn't find my sword. Instead, I found a far more sinister looking blade instead. Before I could touch it, it flared up and turned into a red sphere of lightning. I gasped and tried to jump backwards but the sphere flew towards me. I help up my arms to protect myself. Nothing...only a small tingling sensation. I moved my arms to see what had happened but there was nothing there. I stood up, weak but still alive and found my sword leaning against a small shrub. I sheathed my weapon and decided to just walk into one direction. I eventually emerged from the woods and celebrated my freedom. Then...I heard a loud gunshot. I decided to try and find the source of the blast.
