My Dear Rose

Many years from now, my dear
When your life is over,
and you cower in fear
Suddenly when the darkness clears
I'll take your hand,
and I'll be here


Fall

If I fall amongst the trees,
will I grow wings?
Will the flowers grow all over my body?
If I fall amongst the stars,
Am I free?


Little Star

A little star sang down to me:
Falling angels are never free
Sweet and kind, its small rays light
Extend a hand into the night
Wilting spirit, gentle face
I'm dreaming I'll go into space
Out of reach, my fingers curl
Diminished life of little girl
Don't cry, it said, don't you frown
You can reach me by looking down


Mercy

Squeezed heart of essences pure
Sweetest potion, fiercest of love
Rose petals, fallen from the sky
A small smile, wrenched tightly the most
Don't penetrate, the bitter juices will sting
A quiet death lights the open darkness
"Please, child," she said, reaching up to the face
"A gentle touch to ease the dead." A fading wish,
the skeletal corpse of once was color,
the whisper of shadow, the light slowly answers
"A mercy for you. The vestige of a kiss."


Calm

A light snow falls
Golden ones sing in the distance
Gentle feelings
Slow movements
Harmonious light fills the eyes
Dawn unhurried, sympathetic glory


You

Luscious wings entangled with my kiss
Porcelain doll, innocent jewel
Pink petaled lips, sea jade of eyes
Your soft warm skin fills my heart with ecstacy
Your gentle touch your most wonderful gift
I'll hold you forever, I'll keep you safe
Please, please don't leave me
Please, please, I'm your slave


One Morning

Hot steaming fresh blood of which it is streaming
Emerging from dark, she's met with the screaming
Desperate apology, desolate of choice
To make up for the wrong, she'd cut off her voice
