Prompt
How do you replenish or recharge after an exhausting emotional situation?
Well, Let's see.
Whether it's a stormy argument with a family member, or after having a heart to heart with someone having a difficult time (especially if something really bad has happened to them) Everyone has some way to deal with stress. Some enjoy the escape of fantasy into Video Games, Some just enjoy a good tune. I enjoy sitting out on the sidewalk, watching the sun set. It's something really soothing, and bittersweet about it. One can easily immerse oneself into the moment watching how some cloud formations sometimes block out some of the sun's rays, creating some spectacular light displays while other times, they compliment the whole "atmosphere" of the scene by letting the sun be front and center, while the clouds drift lazily beside it on the horizon.
Now, some people don't like the sunsets because they represent depression and the like; the end of a day, the end of some things. I just take it in, let the sun wash upon me, and smile. I smile because to me, the sunset represents the transition between one day and the next. And because with it, it brings a fresh start into some people's lives. Perhaps it sounds like a scene out of a romantic movie, but go ahead, go out one day in the afternoon (around 4:30-5:30 pm) and go watch the skies. Whether you want to bring your own music along, that's fine. I tend to enjoy watching the skies sometimes with wordless music, but most of the time, the serenity of the skies just begs you to unplug yourself from the material things in life, and cherish the precious moment that this world brings to us each day, and we often take for granted.

Not many people stay up, or wake up early enough to see it, so it's somewhat private. It also helps me feel finished, like I've done enough for the day and so now it's time to let everything go.
